Internet Explorer Security Update

Computer SecurityToday Microsoft released an emergency out-of-cycle patch for Internet Explorer. The vulnerability exists in IE6 and above, but so far it’s only been seen in the wild for IE6.

    And if you’re still using IE6, then you deserve whatever the virus does to you!

    so how does one determine which IE one is using, which link to use for an update?

    Run Internet Explorer. Click the Help menu on the menu bar, then click “About Internet Explorer”. That should tell you the version number.

    To update it, run Windows Update.
